Nice note. I don't know a lot about Nationals. Looking in the Redbook, it lists a Type-1 and Type-2 for the FR1801, but same prices. How do you tell the difference?

Thanks guys.

Actually, it's not a National, but a Federal Reserve Bank Note. It's emergency money printed during the bank holiday in March 1933, using National frames. Even though printed in 1933, not all were released at that time. The remaining notes were issued as "Federal Reserve Notes" during World War 2.

While a majority of these notes are not too difficult to find in circulated grades, it is extremely tough to find original well centered notes in CU condition.

Thanks - now you know why you don't see my name posting on the currency forum a lot Embarassed I found the right spot in the Redbook this time I think - FR1860-D Learn something new every day.
